Cherepovets "Severstal" defeats St. Petersburg "SKA"
"Severstal" from Cherepovets has defeated St. Petersburg "SKA" with score 2:1 in out match of Russian hockey championship.

The home team scored the first goal at 8th minute of match after exact throw by Fyodor Polishchuk. But before the end of the period the ice-hockey team from Cherepovets managed not only to equal score but to chalk up: captain Andrei Kovalenko who came from "Avangard" and Alexander Polushin were good. Score was not changed in next two periods.

Now "Severstal" has 31 points and 11th place. The team left behind "SKA" exactly, who now has 12th place.
